Accessibility Statement
This is not yet a formal conformance statement. The technical measures listed below have been implemented, but declaring a conformance level requires an independent audit.
What has been implemented
The site was built against WCAG 2.2 level AA principles:
- Semantic HTML structure and a logical heading hierarchy on every page
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator
- A “skip to content” link at the start of every page
- Keyboard-operable navigation, disclosure components and image viewer
- The image viewer closes with Escape and steps with the arrow keys
- Every meaningful image has a text alternative
- Colour contrast was checked; text meets at least 4.5:1
- State is never communicated by colour alone
- The
prefers-reduced-motionsetting is respected - No audio or video starts automatically
- No functionality depends on hover alone
Known limitations
- The YouTube player is a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control. Videos load only after an explicit click.
- Captions are available on YouTube where they exist for a given recording.
- No independent accessibility audit has been carried out yet.
