Accessibility Statement

This is not yet a formal conformance statement. The technical measures listed below have been implemented, but declaring a conformance level requires an independent audit.

What has been implemented

The site was built against WCAG 2.2 level AA principles:

• Semantic HTML structure and a logical heading hierarchy on every page
• Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator
• A “skip to content” link at the start of every page
• Keyboard-operable navigation, disclosure components and image viewer
• The image viewer closes with Escape and steps with the arrow keys
• Every meaningful image has a text alternative
• Colour contrast was checked; text meets at least 4.5:1
• State is never communicated by colour alone
• The prefers-reduced-motion setting is respected
• No audio or video starts automatically
• No functionality depends on hover alone

Known limitations

• The YouTube player is a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control. Videos load only after an explicit click.
• Captions are available on YouTube where they exist for a given recording.
• No independent accessibility audit has been carried out yet.
